Whether you're saving your creation to display online, display offline, or print, you'll first need to save your visual and give it a proper name.
Save: First, save your visual by clicking on the Save button at the top right. If you haven’t named your visual yet, you will be prompted to enter a title, and it might take a few seconds while a thumbnail is generated. After this, your visual will be saved in your Dashboard for future use.
Download: Next, click on the Download option in the upper right. A popup will appear. Here, you can choose:
- the type of file to download (image PNG or JPG for Free & Lite users; PDF option for Pro users)
- the size of the file to download (Original/ Medium/ High Resolution/ Custom)
- if you want to Download As Blocks (this option will provide you with each block as separate image in a .zip file when toggled ON)
- if you want to display the Piktochart logo at the bottom of your visual or if you wish to hide it (Free & Lite users must display our logo, Pro users can toggle ON or OFF).
If the download doesn't happen automatically, you can right-click on the thumbnail and choose where on your computer you would want to save your infographic.
Print : Piktochart visuals may look great on-screen, but we know there may be times when you'd like to have your visual on paper.
Firstly, it's best to start with a printable format (Poster or Report) which are the suggested formats for choosing your template for printing your visual.
Depending on what size you’d like to print in, we have a number of resources available.
Please note that to print, you must first save, then download your visual to your computer (see above). Next, find the file you saved to your computer. Open it using your computer's photo software, and print with that application. In most cases, you can choose the "fit to page" option and print that way.
As Piktochart does not include a built-in printing function, you can use these resources to print in the size desired :
How do I download and print in A4, A0, and other A-series sizes?
How do I print in custom size?
How can I set my default canvas to A4 or letter (8.5 x 11) size?
How do I use the PDF download options?
