If you are a Pro user, you can download your work with active links as a PDF file. Just download the PDF with the Copyable Text option toggled ON. In addition, to download a PDF document that includes active content (hyperlinks or videos), you'll need to be sure that any links are attached only to textboxes on the canvas; the links will not work if attached to other objects, such as images, due to the high-resolution of the PDF output.
Also, as a friendly reminder, the width of your canvas needs to be set to 800 pixels if you intend to download in PDF format. This will ensure the text elements in your canvas will not overlap when downloaded.
Finally, please choose the Longform option in the PDF download window.
You can always add a link to Images or Text Boxes if you intend to Publish it to view Online only. This option is the only one available to Free users if you wish to have active links.
To add a link, first click to select the object on your canvas that you would like to function as a hyperlink on your Piktochart.
Click on the link icon at the menu on top. A pop-up will appear for you to insert the URL. Remember to include http:// for the hyperlink to work. Only external URLs will function; intranet URLs and links to other areas of the same visual will not function.
The example pictured above shows the icon of a trophy being used to host a hyperlink. This link will function if you choose SHARE and Publish, then view the saved visual online.
