Before you start creating and uploading videos in the AI Video Editor, here's a quick overview of what's supported so everything runs smoothly.

Supported Video Upload Formats
These are the video file types you can import into the AI Video Editor.

Note:
- If your file type isn't listed above, convert it to a supported format before uploading.
- The size limit per video is 500mb per upload. Feel free to use the video compression tool of your choice if the size is above that threshold.
Supported Image Formats for Video Projects
You can use your own images as part of your video. Here's what's accepted.
When uploading images to use inside your video project (backgrounds, avatars, product images), the following formats are supported:
- AI-Generated Images
- JPG / JPEG
- PNG
Audio Formats
Add your own music or audio track in one of these supported formats.

Tip: Maximum file size per audio upload is 100MB
Common Questions
What happens if I upload an unsupported file type?
You'll see an error message letting you know the file can't be used. Check the supported formats listed above and convert your file before trying again.
Can I upload a video I recorded on my phone?
Yes, as long as it's in a supported format and within the file size limit.
How long can an AI-generated video be?
AI-generated videos through the video generator are currently between 10 and 60 seconds long.
