Annotated comments for PRO teams

Communication is key during a collaboration between members of a team. That’s why the annotated comment is important for every member of your team to work and review visuals more efficiently. Here’s how it works:

1. Optimized reply function

You can now reply to comments, creating threads that will improve the communication of your team! You can also tag users, and if the username isn’t available we’ll pick up the email address of the recipient. Make sure you click on “Reply” when you finish your response, thus making sure your message is saved!

2. Resolution flow

We’ve made it easier to hide comments that have been already worked on. You can now “Mark as Solved” and remove entire threads from the plain sight view. In the upper right corner, you’ll see a “Show Resolved” button that will bring back to view all the saved comments.

To distinguish the resolved comments view from the unsolved comments view, you will see a slightly different background color for resolved comments view. When resolved comments are displayed, you will see a pointer dot on the canvas is of green color and a tick mark within the dot.

3. Rich Text Editing (RTE) and line spacing

Select the option from the Rich Text Editing menu to make your text bold, italic, or underlined. You can also press Enter to create space between paragraphs.

4. Mentioning/Tagging individuals.

In order to help team members to address each other in the comments, each message and reply has a mention button: “Want to mention someone?”

If clicked or alias is entered manually using the keyboard, a list of team members' usernames (email addresses as fallbacks if the user has no username) appears.

You can mention one or several members of your team. If you try to mention someone who’s not on your team, you’ll receive the following message: "No matches found. Keep typing an email or username.”

5. Hyperlink auto-detection

Save time by adding URLs to your comments. They will be available and clickable instantly by your team.

6. Ability to reposition comments to respond to changes in the underlying design

If you need to reposition the comments, you and your team can do so by dragging and dropping comment dots (pink for unresolved comments, green for solved comments). Comments will take a new position vertically according to the dots’ new position.

7. Notifications

By default, you will receive notifications for sharing and commenting events on the team.

If you want to switch them off, you can do so by going to the profile icon on the upper right menu and select “Account Settings” > “Notifications” > and Toggle “OFF” the notification setting:
