How to Adjust Video Playback Speed in PiktoAI Video

You can change the playback speed of a video clip in Pikto AI Video to create slow-motion or fast-forward effects.


Adjust the video speed

  1. Open your video project in the Pikto AI Video Editor.
  2. Select the video clip on the canvas or timeline.
  3. In the top toolbar, select Speed (Timer icon).
  4. Choose a playback speed from the dropdown menu.

Available speed options include:

  • 0.25x and 0.5x for slow motion
  • 1.0x for normal playback
  • 1.5x, 2.0x, 3.0x, 5.0x, and 10.0x for fast-forward playback
The selected speed is applied to the video clip.

Preview the result

Select Play in the preview area or timeline to check how the video looks and sounds at the new speed. If needed, select the clip again and choose a different speed.

Return to normal speed

To restore the original playback speed:
  1. Select the video clip.
  2. Select Speed in the top toolbar.
  3. Choose 1.0x.

Save and export your video

Your changes are saved automatically. When you are satisfied with the result, select Export to download the finished video or save it to your Asset Library.
