Common Questions
What is the AI Image Modifier and what can it do?
Pikto AI Image Modifier allows you edit and enhance images directly on your canvas. You can remove objects, swap elements, restyle specific areas, or fine-tune your visuals — all without leaving the editor.
Can I use the AI Image Modifier on any image?
Yes! You can use the tool on any image you upload or add to your canvas. Just select the image, then choose the AI Modifier option to begin editing.
What types of modifications can I request?
You can ask the AI to remove, replace, or alter parts of your image. For example, you can erase a background object, swap a laptop with a notebook, or apply a new visual style to a section of the image. Try to be specific in your instructions to ensure that you get the results you are looking for!
How many credits does it cost to modify an image?
Each AI-generated edit costs 25 credits per image. If you create multiple variations, each one will be charged separately.
Where are the modified images saved?
All images modified using the AI tool are automatically saved in My Uploads > AI Image. You can reuse them in any project or download them directly from there.
What happens if I upload a GIF and use the AI Image Modifier?
When you upload a GIF and request edits using the AI Image Modifier, the file will automatically be converted to a static PNG image. This is because the AI tool currently supports editing still images only, not animated files. If you want to preserve the animation, we recommend editing individual frames separately before recreating the animation externally.
