How to Generate Reports with Pikto AI

Pikto AI allows you to create professional infographics in seconds—just by describing your topic. No design experience needed.

Getting Started

Go to the Pikto AI Visual Generator: https://piktochart.com/generative-ai/editor/
Log in to your Piktochart account (or sign up if you’re new).

Generate Your Infographic

Select “Document” format

From the Document tab, choose Report from the available visual types.

Enter your prompt

Type a short title or description of the visual you want to create in the space. Or, you can also paste text and upload a file.

Example prompts:

“Monthly sales performance report for a small business”
“Quarterly marketing performance report with key metrics and insights”
“Annual company report summary with highlights and achievements”

Under Additional Instructions space, you can describe additional context, preferred tone and content language for better result.

Pikto AI’s Visual Generator works best when you focus on what the visual is about, rather than how it should be structured.
The AI does not follow layout, page, or formatting instructions

You can customize the design, layout, and structure after generation using the editor

Click “Generate Visual”

Pikto AI will generate several infographic options within seconds.
Select your preferred Template
Click Save and Edit Infographic once you have selected

Customize Your Visual

Choose a design

Select the layout you prefer from the generated previews.

Edit in the editor

You can customize:
- Text and headings
- Colors and fonts
- Icons and images
- Sections and layout
Refine your content

Adjust the design to match your message, branding, or audience.

Once your visual is ready:

Click Download to save it (PNG or PDF depending on your plan)
Or click Share to publish or send it online

Common Questions

Is there a limit to how many times I can use Pikto AI?

The usage of Pikto AI depends on your subscription plan.

Each plan includes a set number of AI credits, which are used every time you generate content with Pikto AI. Once you’ve used all your credits, you may need to upgrade your plan or wait for the next month for your free credits to renew! You can also purchase additional credits here.

How do I insert a prompt?

You can insert your prompt directly in the text box on the Pikto AI page, select your format and then type your topic or idea into the prompt field and click “Generate Visual” to get started.

Why am I unable to download more than two times?

Free users have a limit of two downloads and these do not renew. You can upgrade to the Pro or Business plans for unlimited downloads.

Can I upload a document into Pikto AI?

Yes, you can! We support any documents in TXT, DOCX or PDF file. Learn more about how to upload a document here.

How can I generate a visual in another language?

You can create visuals in your preferred language in two ways:

Specify the language in your prompt

When entering your prompt, include your preferred language in the Additional instructions segment.

Example: “Create a report about climate change in Spanish”

Use the Translate feature in the Preview After your visual is generated:
- Click the Content tab
- Under Output Language, select your preferred language

This allows you to quickly generate and convert your visuals into different languages as needed 😊
