How to Update Your Piktochart Email Address

Overview

Your Piktochart login email can be changed at any time from your Personal Profile settings.

Steps to Change Your Email Address

  1. Log in to your Piktochart account using your current email address.
  2. Click the Personal Profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
  3. Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu.
  4. On the Personal Profile tab, scroll to the Email Address field.
  5. Click Change.
  6. Enter the new email address you'd like to use, then select Update to save.

Once saved, the account will use the new email address for all future logins. Updates made here apply across all workspaces the user belongs to, since Personal Profile settings are account-wide rather than workspace-specific.

If the Account Was Created via Google or Facebook

Accounts created through a social login (Google or Facebook) must first unlink that connection before an email address can be added or changed.

Unlinking is also done from the Personal Profile settings page. Once unlinked, the user can proceed with adding/changing their email as normal.

Signing In After the Change

Piktochart has moved to a One Time Code (OTP) /Magic Link as the sign-in method for accounts with a verified, active email — no password required. After changing an email address:

  • The user signs in by entering their new email address on the login page.
  • Piktochart sends a one-time sign-in link or code to that inbox.
  • The OTP/Magic Link is valid for 15 minutes and can only be used once.

If you don't see the email within 2–3 minutes, kindly check your Spam/Junk, Promotions/Updates (Gmail), or Other/Clutter (Outlook), and to allowlist the @piktchart.com  domain.

Common Questions

The email won't save / doesn't update after I click Update"

This means the new email address is already associated with another Piktochart account. Each account requires a unique email — Piktochart does not allow the same email to be linked to more than one account. Kindly try with a different email address.

I forgot my password. How do I reset my password?

To reset your password, use this reset password link to choose a new password.

You should receive a password reset email notification requesting you to change and reset a new password. Do check your Spam/Junk mail box to see if you do not receive them!

What if I signed up via Google or Facebook?

If you used Google or Facebook to create your account, you must unlink that connection in order to begin using an email address and password to access your Piktochart account, instead. Read more here: Unlink Social Media Account.

Can I share my account with someone else?

No. Each account must have a unique email, and shared logins can cause visuals to overwrite or fail to save properly. If the goal is collaboration, we recommend inviting the other person as a team member to the Workspace instead of sharing credentials. You can invite team members to your Workspace.

What happens when the Account Owner is unavailable?

Piktochart's obligation is to the current Account Owner, so the account cannot be transferred without their permission. Here's what you can do instead:

  1. First, try to reach the current Account Owner directly and have them transfer ownership themselves from their Personal Profile page.
  2. If unreachable, Piktochart support can attempt outreach to the email on file (useful if it's a shared company inbox).
  3. As a last resort, a written request can be submitted to Piktochart Support with: the account username, the previous and new owner's names/emails, the last four digits of the card on file (paid accounts), and the visual titles saved to the account.
